What is your primary product or service?
Tax Return Preperation for Individual and Small Business. We also provide Accounting and Payroll supports services for the Small Business. We enjoy helping people wade thru the required State and Federal forms and taxes they must deal with.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I started doing taxes as a military wife with H&R Block. I already had my BS degree but found myself back in college to get Accounting Classes because a I enjoyed it so much. After 15 years of working at various levels of management with HR Block, I went to Northwest Accounting & Tax Service. Two years later I became the owner. Northwest and Tax Service in Vancouver WA has grown great amounts in the past 10 years and I am very happy that we can have a Staff team that provides great service to our clients.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
The Service we provide. You will always get a live voice on the phone. We work as a TEAM so no projects get left behind. Most of the time any team member can provide you the answer so you do not have to wait for a specific person to be in the office. Our Team is very knowledgeable in taxes, payroll and accounting. We also explain things to you. Thru personal interviews at tax time, calling with your questions or sitting down to discuss your situation.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
One Location for now located just off of I-5 on 78th Street in Vancouver WA. We want to keep it a local team so we can provide better service. However we have great tools to work with client electronically in a secure environment also (Portals).

We are located on 78th Street in Vancouver WA. About 1/4 mile east of Interstate 5. Great landmark is we are just east of the KFC.
