What is your primary product or service?
Custom electric and non-electric interior and exterior signs.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
My husband Tom and I purchased Security Signs in 1997 from the son of the founder. The sign business is a very graphic industry, and we tke pride in helping businesses grow and thrive through on-premise, 24/7 advertising.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are famil owned and operated, and we provide exemplary customer service. Also, because we re-invest in the best of equipment, do all manufacturing in-house, and purchase name-brand materials in quantity, we pass the cost-savings to our cusotmers, We also have an award-winning design department.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Our main 33,000 square foot manufacturing facility is at 2424 SE Holgate in Portland. (We love to have people tour our facility during business hours or by appointment!) We also have a sales office in Vancouver WA.

We are located east of Hwy 99 just south of Powell Blvd. in SE Portland - near the corner of 26th and Se Holgate Blvd. We are on the south side of Holgate.
What type of payments do you accept?
Credit cards, cash, PO's, and leases.
Which areas do you service?
All of the Pacific Northwest, specializing in Portland Or and Southwest Washington (including Vancouver WA). We also produce and ship signs nationally.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Security Signs is owned by the Keljo family. Carol is the President and manages marketing and HR. Tom is the CFO and sales manager. Our son Kevin is the general manager. Our daughter in law Darci is our safety manager. We all wear many hats!
What are your hours of operation?
Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 p.m., but we will meet anyone for a personal appointment and/or tour during any pre-arranged time.
